Open Days at The Old Church Tower
The Old Church Tower. Has been opened to members of the public as part of the national Heritage Open Weekend. The response has been terrific and generated much interest.
At the event in 2007 we received once again an enthusiastic response and over the two days we had over two hundred visitors.
Jason Mordan, senior conservation officer for Notts. County Council, organised lime pointing workshops and children were given an opportunity to do paper and graphite rubbings on some of the slate gravestones. The latest archaeological discoveries created much interest.
